IQ

IQ refers to the intelligence quotient, a measure of a person's cognitive skills relative to the general population. IQ basically measures a person's ability to learn, to master complex tasks, analyze information or exercise judgment.

IQ is an important benchmark for assessing individuals, and a benchmark of IQ can help identify people with the capacity necessary for a given job.

A high IQ is no guarantee for performance, and says nothing about relating to other people - but a low IQ may indicate that a person may not be suited for certain types of complex jobs or tasks.

Measuring IQ

We measure IQ using a very fast and easy to implement test. This is a well established instrument that has been used by hundreds of thousands of people around the world. The test is highly correlated with much more complex, expensive and time consuming IQ tests. The US Government is a major user of this assessment.

We can also help set benchmarks and guidelines for IQ ranges that are appropriate for different types of job functions.
